Clon del iPhone – Air Phone

Los invito a conocer el Air Phone, un nuevo clon del iphone que ha salido recientemente en china.

El teléfono que les presento hoy es un teléfono celular muy parecido al ipod Touch, si, lo escribí bien, IPOD TOUCH; la razón es que este teléfono es tan delgado como un ipod touch, solo 8.5mm de grosor, lo que lo convierte en la copia del iPhone más delgada que hayamos visto hasta ahora. Funciona con el sistema operativo Java, una versión estable y confiable. Posee todas la características que están presentes en el iPhone, como por ejemplo: Reproductor de audio, reproductor de video, visor de imágenes, navegador de internet y posibilidad de instalar las aplicaciones Java.

A continuación le presento la características indicadas por el fabricante:

Conexión: GSM y Redes 3G

Bandas: 800/900/1800/1900

Pantalla: 3.4 pulgadas Touch display (480×320)

OS: Java

Cámara: 2.0 Megapixel.

Almacenamiento: 2GB

Batería: 5 horas hablando; 8 horas standby

Bluetooh: Si

Wireless: Si

GPS: No

Radio: Si

Resultados de las Pruebas:

A pesar de poseer un sistema operativo bastante estable, el teléfono posee algunos bugs los cuales les menciono a continuación:

Wireless: A pesar de poder conectarse con la red en la mayoría de los casos; notarán que la distancia a la que puede estar separado el equipo del punto de acceso es inferior en comparación con otros dispositivos. en este dispositivo es notable la deficiencia en el rango esto se debe al material con el que esta construida la cobertura exterior del teléfono lo cual reduce notablemente el rango de accesos al Wi-Fi, tuve que ubicarme a 7mts del router o de lo contrario no obtenía acceso al Wi-Fi.

Youtube: El teléfono puede visualizar diversos formatos de video en la mayoría de los casos funciona correctamente, sin embargo; no fue posible acceder a ningún video de Youtube desde el mismo; esto se debe a una limitación del sistema operativo, tampoco es posible reproducir ningún video Flash.

El resto de las funcionalidades funcionaron correcta y satisfactoriamente.

En mi escala del 1- 10 le daría un 7 a este clon. Sin embargo en diseño le daría un 9.

Up-coming Movies will have a new selling plataform

Ever imagined the movie industry releasing movies in a hole new different way?

As technology develop, companies and people also develop, and adapt or embrace to this new technologies; Tomorrow Monday, movies industry and consumers will experience a new way to release up-coming movies; the new platform are Mobile Phones.

Rage, a Sally Potter film starring Jude Law, Dame Judi Dench and Steve Buscemi is expected to revolutionize the way movies reach viewers; first came “World Wide Premieres” now the phrase is “World Wide Multi-Platform”.

Not only is Rage opening in cinemas in the US and in Britain in the next few days, but the DVD of the film is being released overseas and Australians will be able to download episodes of the movie over the Internet from Monday week, just days after its cinema release; and also they are releasing in the US, Britain, Italy, France, Germany and Spain a mobile device version enabling folks in this countries to watch the movie on iPhones and iPods in daily installments over seven days, starting tomorrow. It’s the first time a feature film will premiere on mobile phones.

Archos readying Touch Phone with Android

Archos in the same presentation that unveiled the Archos 5 has also confirmed that the company plans to enter the smartphone market with a high-end media phone. The tentatively-titled Phone Tablet is aimed at the same high performance, full touchscreen category as handsets like the iPhone 3GS or Toshiba TG01 and would be tailored to match. It should have a slightly smaller screen than the Archos 5 at a still-large 4.3 inches but a higher 854×480 resolution and a 1GHz ARM Cortex processor, both of which would put it above competing phones today.

Archos wasn’t saying much about it, or when we’ll be seeing a release date, but it did confirm that the Archos Phone Tablet will pack a slimmer 4.3-inch touchscreen with a sharper 854×480 resolution, HSDPA, a 1GHz Arm processor and a thin, 10mm shell. Think slightly bigger than the Toshiba TG01, and Android instead of Windows Mobile.

We’ll have more details on the Archos Phone Tablet when Archos drops them, or given its propensity for leaks, before then.
